It’s Official—We’re a College!
To celebrate this monumental occasion, the Q College crew is making April 2nd a day to remember. Not only have we unveiled this sparkling new website, we’re also busily hosting a fabulous party with live music, free food and tens of thousands of dollars in scholarships and prizes.
What sparked our growth into a college, you ask?
In 2008, the Victoria School of Business and Technology (now Q College) made headlines when Apple accused them of infringing on their trademarked logo. The dispute gained international attention from media outlets, including CBC, CTV, CNN and the Globe & Mail.
Today, we’re proud to announce we’ve taken our last bite of the Apple situation and are coming our bigger and better than ever before. We’ve expanded our programs to keep in step with developing technologies, including innovative internet marketing techniques like social media marketing and pay-per-click advertising.
So if you’re reading this between 12 and 3 PM on April 2nd, you should head over to the Q College party (604-771 Vernon Avenue/Gateway Village) to meet the staff, eat some free food, listen to the Tom Morrissey Band and learn about all the exciting things we offer.
