Description:
We are seeking a creative and experienced Graphic and Web Designer to join our expanding team. As a web/graphic designer, you will be responsible to produce top quality graphic designs and user interfaces for various marketing projects. We are looking for a highly analytical minded, self-directed, motivated person with a passion for the Web, creating new ideas and who is never satisfied with the status quo.

Hours of Work: 5 days a week, 8 hours per day
Pay: Excellent wage and benefits

RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):

* Participate in the design and layout content of company web pages, including graphics, animation and functionality.
* Creation and development of customized graphic and various online marketing materials including email newsletters and banner ads.
* Maintain a consistent corporate image (look and feel) across all websites for all brands.
* Participate in researching emerging technologies and services that may enhance the Web experience and make recommendations to management.
* Participate in landing pages and search engine optimization.
* Design, create and maintain a series of regular advertisements for print media, sell sheets, promotional material, event signage, presentations etc.
* Execute social media strategies (such as Facebook)

REQUIREMENTS:

* This opportunity is ideal for candidates who are familiar or have interests in the automotive sector.
* You will have strong web design skills which will include the ability to edit HTML and CSS.
* Knowledgeable of CS4 or CS5 Adobe's Creative Suite of products including: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, as well as Flash & Dreamweaver in a MAC environment.
* Knowledge of Flash and Javascript would be a bonus
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Content Management System experience.
* Must have a spotless criminal record check
* The successful candidate must be self-motivated, disciplined and have a positive outlook. You must have the ability to plan a day’s activities and be capable of working under pressure.
* Must have initiative, and good verbal, written and visual communication skills
