Student Academic Appeal Policy
The purpose of this policy is to provide students with information about the Student Academic Appeal process by which students may seek academic consideration. Q College’s approach ensures all academic decisions by its Instructors and Faculty are fair, consistent, and dealt with promptly. Q College also recognizes the need for academic consideration to support students who face personal difficulties or events, where appropriate.
Policy Statement
Q College is committed to promoting academic success and ensuring student records reflect accurate academic abilities and accomplishments. It should be understood that students may only receive grades which reflect their knowledge of the course material. Students seeking a formal academic appeal should complete and submit an appeal form, found on the college website, within five business days of any unresolved course-related issues. Students should refer to college publications or the website for detailed information on the various types of academic consideration that may be requested and the steps for the appeals process.
